What belongs in a 311 request
Use this service for routine attention to streets, lights, graffiti, illegal dumping, missed refuse collections and public spaces. Describe one location and issue per request so it can be routed to the responsible team.
Help us find the problem
Give the street, nearby intersection and a useful landmark. Explain what you can observe, when it appeared and whether it obstructs access. Attach photographs taken from a safe position; you do not need to enter a work site or move damaged equipment.
Routing and progress
City Services reviews the location and request type, then assigns the matter or refers it to the appropriate agency. A reference is a receipt, not confirmation that work is scheduled. Staff will explain access needs, planned follow-up or the reason a matter was referred.
Urgent danger
Call 911 for an immediate threat, fire, serious injury or an incident in progress. A 311 submission is not emergency dispatch. Do not approach exposed wiring, unstable structures or hazardous material.
