Describe the proposal
Explain the existing use, proposed works and the area affected. Include a clear address, owner or applicant details, and a plan or sketch where it helps explain the proposal.
Separate enquiry from approval
An enquiry gives the City information to identify the appropriate review. It is not a building permit, inspection clearance or permission to occupy. Do not begin work that requires authorisation solely because a request has been submitted.
Inspection and coordination
Staff may request access arrangements, additional plans or consultation with Fire or other services. Confirm the appointment and any conditions in the same request thread. For an immediately dangerous structure, move to safety and call 911.
